01 What Bet Pattern is
It is a reference and record-keeping tool for casino game probability. It shows the true odds, payout and house edge of the bets available in nine games, calculates poker hand equity exactly, keeps a record of runs you have seen, and analyses that record honestly.
Does it predict what comes next?
No, and it will tell you so on the screen of every game where the question comes up. Roulette spins, dice rolls and Big Six spins are independent events: nothing on the results board changes the odds of the next one. Any app claiming otherwise is selling you something that cannot work.
Then what is the record for?
Three real things. It shows you how a run actually fell against the game's true odds; it puts a streak next to the streak length chance alone produces, which is usually longer than people expect; and it runs a fairness test on what you recorded. In blackjack and poker — where the cards already seen genuinely change the odds — the app does the arithmetic that follows from that.
02 Scanning a board
Which boards can be scanned?
The baccarat bead plate — the grid of solid red, blue and green marks. It is the one casino display that can be read reliably from colour alone, which is what makes an on-device scan possible without sending your photo anywhere. You can take a new photo or pick one from your library; either way the image is read on the phone and never kept.
My scan missed some marks.
Hold the phone square to the screen rather than at an angle, fill the frame with the bead plate alone, and avoid glare from the display. Whatever the scan reads is always shown for you to check before it is saved — tap any mark to remove it, and use the buttons to add ones it missed.
Can I scan a roulette or craps board?
Those boards show numbers rather than coloured marks, so they are tapped in by hand. In practice it is quicker than correcting a misread, and the analysis afterwards is identical.
03 Subscriptions
What do the plans include?
All three unlock the same thing: the complete app. Monthly and Yearly renew automatically; Lifetime is a single payment with no renewal.
I paid before and reinstalled the app.
Tap Restore purchases on the plan screen that appears when you open the app, signed in to the same Apple ID you paid with. That reactivates a subscription or a lifetime purchase on the new device — you do not need to buy again. Once the app is unlocked the same button is also in Settings.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: open Settings → Manage subscription in the app, or the Subscriptions section of your Apple ID settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your current period running to its end.
Refunds
Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases at reportaproblem.apple.com. Write to us as well if something in the app was the reason.
04 Your data
Where is my history kept?
On your phone, in the app's own storage. There is no account and no server, so nothing you record is uploaded and we cannot see it. It travels with your normal iCloud or computer backup.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Erase all data removes every session, note and shot record immediately, along with your settings — including the app lock, which switches off. It asks once to confirm, so it is two taps rather than one. Deleting the app removes everything too. Neither can be undone, because there is no copy anywhere else.
Can I lock the app?
Yes — Settings → Require Face ID (or Touch ID, depending on your iPhone) asks each time the app is reopened. The switch only turns on after your phone has verified you once, so it cannot lock you out.

05 About the numbers
Where do the odds come from?
They are computed from the structure of each game rather than copied from a table — pocket counts for roulette, the 36 dice combinations for craps, the published eight-deck drawing figures for baccarat, segment counts for the Big Six wheel. Poker equity comes from a simulation run on your phone: up to 120,000 runouts for a two-handed hold'em question, fewer for Omaha and for bigger fields, because each of those costs far more to evaluate. The screen always shows how many runs it used and the margin that gives. Where nothing is left to deal, it stops simulating and gives the exact answer.
My table's rules are different.
Several screens let you match the table in front of you: single or double zero and la partage for roulette, commission and tie payout for baccarat, and both field layouts for craps. If your table has a rule the app does not cover, tell us and we will look at adding it.
06 Common problems
The paywall says plans aren't available.
That is usually a temporary App Store connection problem. Check your network, close the app fully and reopen it. If it persists for more than a few hours, email us.
Dictation does nothing.
Bet Pattern needs both Microphone and Speech Recognition permission. Check both under iOS Settings → Bet Pattern.
The camera button does nothing.
Camera access is off. Turn it on under iOS Settings → Bet Pattern, or use a photo from your library instead.

Play within your means
Every game in this app carries a house edge, and nothing in it removes that. Bet Pattern does not accept wagers and is not connected to any casino. Decide what you are willing to lose before you sit down, and stop there.
